Elaine Stanturf, an 83 year old resident, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m., December 17, 2016 at the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton. Burial will follow in Half Rock Cemetery at Half Rock, MO.  Open visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Memorial contributions may be made to Half Rock Cemetery and left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Elaine Stanturf was born December 10, 1933 in Mercer County, MO to Wendell and Mary Alene (Ragan) Wells.  She graduated from Princeton High School. On September 14, 1951 she was united in marriage to Rev. William Stanturf in Princeton, MO.  Elaine loved having her family and friends around and especially loved to feed them.  She was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Patty Sawyer and husband, Vernon of Laredo, MO, Linda Washburn and husband, Charles of Chillicothe, MO, and Becky Stanturf of Trenton, MO, a brother Danny Wells of Ankeny, IA, four grandchildren, Angela Covert and her husband, Phil of Las Vegas, NV, Amy Brose and her husband, David of Kansas City, MO, Scott Washburn and his wife, Kim of Trenton, and Monica Epperson and her husband, Jeremy of Chillicothe, MO, and 11 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Libby Ellie and Rylee Washburn, Tayler and Spencer Epperson, Ava and Anna Brose, and Clayton, Mason and Carson Radcliff.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, an infant son, William Harvey, a daughter, Judith Ann, and two brothers Lee and Dennis Wells.
