David Johnson, a 67 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services with military rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. The body will be cremated following the service. A scheduled visitation will be held from 6-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
David was born on October 31, 1948 in Chillicothe, MO the son of William David and Mary (Nida) Johnson. He worked as a foreman at Landmark Manufacturing. He was married to Jean Keats on December 31, 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Johnson of Trenton, MO; a son David Johnson and his wife, Heather of Trenton, MO; daughters, Tiffany Penney of Trenton, MO, Mary Beth Delile and her husband, Keith of Trenton, MO, Chrystal Johnson, and Jeana Anderson of Kearney, MO; a brother, Robert Johnson of Kearney, MO; a sister, Martha Brinkley of Kearney, MO; a cousin, Larry Starrett of Trenton, MO; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
