Frances Miller, a 78 year old resident of Trenton, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her residence while under hospice care.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. A scheduled visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.
Frances was born on November 26, 1937 in Grundy County, MO the daughter of Hugh Russell and Clara Lucille (Lankford) Ratliff. She was married to Jack Miller on April 3, 1957; he preceded her in death on March 31, 2015. She worked in nursing at Wright Memorial Hospital for 60 plus years, retiring in 2015.
She is survived by two sisters, Shirley Wofford of Warsaw, MO and Ella Adkins of Bethany, MO; a brother, Ervin Ratliff of Hamilton, MO; Vince Meighen of Trenton and Lisa Byers of Princeton, who she raised and was like a mother to both; also surviving are several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Ratliff; a great nephew, Raven Meighen; a great niece, Lindsey Byers; and a great nephew, Greg Murphy.
