Josephine Johnson, an 82 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 8:43 p.m. on Saturday, January 01, 2011 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2010 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. A scheduled family visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery, east of Osgood.
Mrs. Johnson was born on July 21, 1928 in Butler, KS the daughter of George Sanford and Stella Baldwin Raley. She was married to David Harding Johnson on October 16, 1943 in Paola, KS. They lived most of their lives in the Osgood area. They attended the Tenth Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Harding Johnson of Trenton, MO; a son Floyd Johnson and his wife, Sue of Trenton, MO; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Sampson; her sister; 2 brothers; 2 grandsons; and 1 granddaughter.
