Ruby Baugher, an 83 year old resident of The Baptist Home in Chillicothe, MO passed away at 9:43 p.m., Sunday, December 26, 2010 at The Baptist Home where she had resided for the past 2 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at the Resthaven Mortuary at Trenton, MO. Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 PM Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Half Rock Cemetery. Memorial contributions have been suggested to be given to the Half Rock Cemetery. These may be left at or mailed to the Resthaven Mortuary at P.O.Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.
Mrs. Baugher was born on November 17, 1927 in Grundy County, MO the daughter of Roy and Arnell Williams Corbin. She graduated from Trenton High School and before her marriage she worked at the Kress Store in Trenton. On March 22, 1947 she was married to Coda Baugher at Princeton, MO. He preceeded her in death dying on August 9, 2007. She and her husband worked all their married lives farming and raising registered Angus cattle. After they retired they moved into Trenton to make their home.
She was a Sunday school teacher and was always involved and supported the Providence Baptist Church at Half Rock.
Surviving relatives include her son Larry Baugher and his wife Linda of Trenton, daughters Sharon Nickell and her husband Jason of Galt, MO, and Shirley Baugher and her husband Enrique Colmenares of St. Paul, MN.; two grandchildren, Jamie (Brian) Eckert of Galt, MO and Blake (Josie) Baugher of Spickard, MO; two great-grandchildren, Darian and Quentin Eckert.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, James, John, and Harold Corbin and a sister, Vera Corbin.
