Marion Dale Humphreys, 85, formally of Galt, passed away at 2:45 AM on Thursday, June 09, 2016 at Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron, Missouri.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Payne Funeral Home in Galt. Burial to follow at the Humphreys Cemetery in Humphreys, Missouri. Open visitation will begin Tuesday morning at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Humphreys Cemetery.
Dale was born on July 12, 1930 in Humphreys, Missouri to Dick and Blanch (Pickett) Humphreys. He attended and graduated from Humphreys school before joining the Navy and moving to California in 1954. He was united in marriage to Florence Iverson in 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a bricklayer, and worked for the Nolan Paper Company in California. He traveled the world, owned and operated his own bar and apartments. His especially loved his horses.
Dale is survived by his companion, Dee Anderson of Galt; local nieces and nephews, Joyce Triplett and husband Steve of Browning, Cindy McCracken and husband Bob of Trenton, Sharon Wisner of Trenton, Corrine Stickler of Nixa, MO, Gary Humphreys of Galt, and Randy Humphreys and wife Arlene of Trenton; and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers, and three sisters.
