Mrs. Carolyn Sealock, a 71 year old resident of the Eastview Manor Care Center in Trenton, MO, passed away at 8:45 PM Sunday December 19, 2010 at the care center.

At Mrs. Sealock’s request the body was cremated and no services are planned. The cremains will be inurned at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Resthaven Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Sealock was born on August 21, 1939 in Trenton the daughter of O.A. “Tye” and Flora Wimer Gannon. She attended Trenton schools and graduated from Trenton High School in 1958. On January 8, 1957 she was married to William Wayne Sealock at Trenton. He preceded her, dying on July 27, 1984. For 18 years she and her husband owned and operated the Town House Beauty Shop in Trenton. She had been employed for 8 years at Esry’s I.G.A. and for 5 years as a receptionist for Dr. John Holcomb.

She was a member of the Crandall United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sealock is survived by two sisters, Joyce Hamilton of Marshalltown, IA and Martha Arbuckle of Liberty, MO; one brother, Ronnie Gannon of Trenton, MO; and one grandson, William Taylor Sealock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Brad Sealock.

Joyce, Martha, Ronnie and families. I'm sorry to hear about Carolyn's passing.
I always enjoyed seeing and visiting with her when she worked for Dr. John. You are all in my thoughts.
