Marvin Blattner, 78, of Spickard, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. There is no scheduled visitation. Open visitation will begin Wednesday morning at Resthaven. Memorials and contributions are suggested to the donor’s choice.
Marvin was born on February 11, 1937 in Brimson, Missouri to Carl and Tressie (Lovell) Blattner. On September 30, 1955, he was united in marriage to Annielea Key at the First Christian Church in Trenton, Missouri.
He enjoyed restoring old tractors and attending tractor pulls.
Marvin is survived by his children, Johnna Kay Coulston and husband Carl of  Tindall, MO, Terry Blattner and wife Joyce of Trenton, MO, and Jayne Locklar and husband Thomas II of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Jennifer Turner of Wichita Falls, TX, Samie Jo Hill and husband David of Butler, MO, Kaycee Lee Kaufman and husband Mike of Chillicothe, MO, Skyler Blattner and wife Dianna of Frisco, TX, Tyson Blattner of Overland Park, KS, Elizabeth Locklar of Fairbanks, AK, Thomas Locklar III of Wisconsin, and Victoria Locklar of Fairbanks, AK; and great grandchildren, Oakleigh Hill, Eastin Hill, and Brielle Blattner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Annielea; brother Walter Blattner; and sister Donna Keith.

Am sorry to learn that Marvin has passed. Take comfort in knowing that he has gone on to a far better place. Had not heard anything recently but knew that he had some health issues. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
