Dallas Lenton Hanes, 22, of Trenton, passed away at home early Tuesday morning, September 29, 2015. The body was cremated.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Monday,  October 5, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Inurnment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  A scheduled visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Resthaven. Open visitation will begin Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. Memorials and contributions are suggested to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and can be left with or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, PO Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.
Dallas was born on December 3, 1992 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Mark and Elaine (Jones) Hanes. He loved hunting, fishing, driving fast cars, and working on cars. He liked to play board games, watching the Chiefs, and Facebooking. He also attended Coon Creek Baptist Church.
Dallas is survived by his father, Mark Hanes of Trenton; mother, Elaine Hanes and companion Richard Creason; children, Brantley Hanes and Emma Christenson of Trenton; brother, Christopher Hanes and wife Julie of Alaska; sister, Vanessa Smith and husband Jake of Trenton;  grandparents; Vernon Hanes of Gallatin, Betty Siemer and husband Gail of Trenton, and Jolene Jones of Trenton; nieces and nephews, Hunter Smith of Trenton, and Loralie and Dalton Hanes of Alaska; wife, Ashlie (Armstrong) Hanes of Trenton; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clifford Jones.

May God give you the strength to endure thru this trying time. Suicide is not an easy thing to understand and take a long time to get thru it. love your entire family.
