David Briegel, a 61 year old former Spickard, MO resident, passed away at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Paris, MO.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  A visitation is scheduled from 6:30 until 7:30 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to South Evans Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
David Briegel was born January 25, 1954 in Trenton to Victor and Marie (McCarty) Briegel.  He graduated from Trenton High School the class of 1972.  David was well known for his welding skill and during the 80’s he owned and operated a bridge building company. He was a member of the Grundy County Saddle Club for several years.
Surviving relatives include his children; Matt Briegel and his wife Angie of Lawson, MO, Mitchell Briegel of Olathe, KS, Meghann Briegel of Madison, MO, Reagan Briegel of Madison, MO, and Christian Briegel of Trenton, MO, brothers James Briegel of Lone Jack, MO, and Charles Briegel of Leesburg, FL, sisters Connie Wright of Jefferson City, MO and Janice Beavers of Des Moines, IA, and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Victor and Marie but am sorry to say that I do not know their children. We are related somehow on the Fanning side. Pauline Thompson Woods Ferguson was my grandmother. I will keep the Briegel family in my thoughts and prayers.
