Amber Haley Stiles, an 88 year old Princeton, MO resident, passed away at 1:58 a.m., May 25, 2015 at Pearl’s II Eden for Elders in Princeton, MO.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton.  Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  Open visitation will begin at 9:00 Wednesday morning at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to either Hospice Advantage or the Mercer County Ambulance and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Amber Haley Stiles was born August 20, 1926 in Half Rock, MO to Ora Frank and Hope Golden Haley.  She graduated from Princeton High School the class of 1945.  On October 20, 1946 she was married to Harley Edward Stiles at their minister’s home in Princeton.  Together they farmed and raised cattle in Mercer County until moving to Gallatin in 1985 and Versailles in 1987 where Harley managed ranches.  They moved to Savannah in 1993 to be near their daughter.  Amber later moved to California and then back to Princeton in 2004.  She was a member of the California First Baptist Church and enjoyed volunteering for the California and Savanah Baptist Churches and the Savanah nursing home.
Surviving relatives include her son Ed Stiles of Princeton, and daughters Gayle Lynn Coon of Crane, MO, Amber Harlene Dougan of Princeton, MO and Patricia Anne Hartman and her husband Jr. of Wathena, KS, a foster son Greg Reger and his wife Dena of Princeton, sister Joy Powell of Princeton, MO, 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, and a son in law Don Dougan.

Ed, Gayle, Harlene, and Pat, I just got the weekly Post and saw that your mom had died. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Amber was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her!
