Rex Alan Hamby, a 64 year old Brimson resident, passed away at 8:25 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his home while under Hospice care.
His body is to be cremated with memorial services scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday May 9, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Willis Chapel Cemetery.
Rex Alan Hamby was born March 28, 1951 in Trenton, MO to Max and Deva (Bulyar) Hamby.  He graduated from Trenton High School and began working for the Rock Island Railroad until retiring in 2005 from Union Pacific Railroad.  On August 29, 1996 he was united in marriage to Betty Stuart in Spickard, MO.  
Surviving relatives include his wife Betty of the home, mother Deva Hamby of Trenton, sister Janet Brown and her husband Darrell of Trenton, MO daughter Natalie Kielman and her husband Bobby of Platte City, MO, son Brandon Hamby of Dunbar, WV, step daughters Mary Howe and her husband Randy of Spickard, MO, and Heather Michael and her husband Shaun of Trenton, 7 grandchildren Lauren Fastenau, Mackenzie Kielman, Mya Kielman, Tosha Reim, Riley Howe, Ivan Michael and Bella Michael, nephews Drake and Jake Brown and great nieces Corda and Emma.
Those preceding him in death include his father and an infant sister Sheryl Rose Hamby.

I am the sister of Janet Hassani. We both grew up with Rex Hamby.
I send my prayers of sympathy for the relatives for their loss to such a nice person.
