Byra Hensley, a 73 year old passed away at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO.
A visitation will start at 5:00 p.m. and last until service time at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Northland Abundant Life Worship Center in Liberty, MO under the direction of Whitaker- Eads Funeral Home of Trenton, MO. Cremation will follow after the service with private inurnment at a later date.
Ms. Hensley was born on April 10, 1941 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Ira Alfred and Ruth Ailene (Squire) Blackburn. She was a member of the Northland Abundant Life Worship Center for 24 years.
Surviving relatives include her daughter Kim Craig and her husband, Alec of Cameron, MO, son Terry Pratt and his wife, Nancy of Liberty, MO, daughter Cheryl Williams and her husband, Don of Springfield, MO son Larry Pratt of Gladstone, MO, son Paul Pratt and his wife, Christy of Shelton, WA, son Sam Hensley and his wife, Holly of Granite Falls, WA, son Chance Hensley and his wife, Christian of Kingwilliam, WV; a brother Jack Blackburn of Jamesport, MO; 35 grandchildren ; 41 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruthie Pratt; 7 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Memorial contributions are suggested to her grandchildrens education fund, in care of Terry Pratt.
