Rose Mary Carter, 63, of Unionville, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the University Of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Payne Funeral Home in Galt, MO. Burial to follow at the Harris Cemetery in Harris, MO. A visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to the service. An open visitation will begin on Thursday at the funeral home.
Rose Mary was born on February 21, 1952 in Unionville, MO to John Raymond and Osie Fannie (Breese) Carter. She graduated from Newtown Harris High School in 1971.
Rose Mary loved planting and growing flowers, crocheting, going to the casino and taking care of babies in the children’s hospital where she worked. Rose was known for her loving care she showed to everyone.
Rose Mary is survived by her son Shawn Bilderback of Utah; granddaughters, Alexas and Berlyn Bilderback of Utah; brothers, Billy Ray Carter and wife Shirley of Trenton, John Raymond Carter Jr. of Trenton, Richard D. Carter and wife Lana of Trenton, and Gary Mac Carter and wife Jo of Cincinatti, IA; sisters, Jo Ann Stark of Trenton, Sarah Holliday of Unionville, Betty Jean Loughead and husband Junior of Unionville, Wanda Lightner and husband David of Harris, and Linda Ruth Carter of Unionville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Jimmy Lee Carter.
Memorials are suggested to the Harris Cemetery and can be mailed to Payne Funeral Home, PO Box 37 Galt, MO 64641.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Rose Mary's family. Rose Mary and I are first cousins. Our fathers were brothers. My mother, Leona Carter was married to Rose Mary's uncle, Harold Edwin Carter, kia VietNam 2-21-69. We live in Colorado Springs.
