Burley Hague, a 93 year old Moberly, MO resident and former Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 1:31 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. A scheduled visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Open visitation will begin after 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Trenton, following military graveside rites.
Mr. Hague was born on August 19, 1921 in Trenton, MO the son of James Slyvester and Lizzie (Cooper) Hague. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for Missouri Public Service. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 919, Trenton Elks Lodge 801, and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by a son, Paul Hague and his wife, Martha of Moberly, MO; a brother, Robert Hague of Fulton, MO; and 5 grandchildren, Clint Hague and his wife, Katy of Hallsville, MO, Maggie Hague of Columbia, MO, Matt Hague and his wife, Alissa of Lee’s Summit, MO, Tricia Brown and her husband, Greg of Belmond, IA, and Brian Meek and his fiancée, Amber Armstrong of Trenton, MO; also surviving are several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marian Burkeybile; and 11 brothers and sisters.
