Marie Elizabeth Beckett, 85, of Trenton, Missouri, passed away at 5:15AM on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton where she has resided since December 3rd.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, 24, 2015 at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.  Burial will follow in the Edinburg I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Edinburg, MO.  A visitation is scheduled from 6 until 7 Friday evening at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter or the Edinburg I.O.O.F. Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Marie E. Beckett was born October 10, 1929 in Hudson, CO to George and Ida Arnold.  She graduated from Keenesburg High School in CO.  On April 28, 1957 she was united in marriage to Wayne Darwin Beckett Sr.  They lived for many years in Easton, MO before moving to Illinois and then settling in Brimson, MO in 1993.  Marie worked for Heartland Hospital as a unit secretary.
Marie is survived by sons, Terry Beckett of Easton, MO and Wayne Beckett Jr. of Gower, MO; daughters, Debra Thomas of Houston, TX, Leona McInnis and husband Jim of Cincinnati, OH, Cindy Powell of Jamesport, MO, Sandra Marie Plummer and husband Larry of Graham, MO, and Ida Mae Beckett of Williston, ND; brothers, Daryl Arnold and his wife Mary of Keenesburg, CO and Larry Arnold and his wife Sharon of Brighton ,CO; and sisters, Pearl Whitman of Brighton, CO, Shirley Grabill and her husband Bill of Hudson, CO, and Pam Timm and her husband Bob of Hoyt, CO; 22 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, a brother Claude Arnold, a sister Stella Meints, a grandson Melvin Miller, a great grandson Kameron Nelson, and a son-in-law Paul Thomas.
