Wayne Neff a 48 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 5:26 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2014 at Mosaic Hospital of St. Joseph, MO.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  A visitation is scheduled from 7 until 8 Monday evening at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested to go toward the funeral expenses and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Wayne Neff was born August 4, 1966 in Wichita, KS to Earl Dean and Dixie Elaine Gardner Neff.  Wayne lived most of his life in Texas where he worked as a mechanic  for Danny’s Transmission in Killeen TX before starting his own shop “Neff’s Transmission and Automotive” in 2005.  Wayne’s hobbies included stock car racing, motorcycles.  He was also well known for his tattoo art.  His favorite thing was to spend time with his grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include his wife Debbie of Trenton, children Brandon of Austin, TX, Desirae of Kempner, TX, Kristen of St. Joseph, MO, and Travis of Austin, TX, mother, Dixie Cooper of Trenton, grandmother, Ruby Ward of Trenton, brothers and sisters Shauna of Trenton, Travis of Phoenix, AZ, Kevin of St. Joseph, Danita of Elwood, KS, Leasa of Savanah, MO, Kelly of St. Joseph, MO, Mathew of St. Joseph, MO, and Evey of St. Joseph, MO, 8 grandchildren, Kyndall, Carter, Addison, Alyssa, Maci, Hunter, Izzy, and Buck, and a grandson on the way Jace Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather Dean Ward.
