Glenn Chandler an 86 year old former Trenton resident passed away at 11:15 a.m. on October 4, 2014 at his home in Brookfield under hospice care, where he has lived for the past 4 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. A masonic service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday at the mortuary, with a scheduled visitation to follow until 6:30 p.m.
Mr. Chandler was born on August 28, 1928 in Trenton, MO the son of James and Fannie (Klingensmith) Chandler. He was married to Martha Norris on May 20, 1960 in Trenton, MO; she preceded him in death on May 14, 2001. He was a Gas Crew Forman for Missouri Public Service. He was a member and very active the Masonic and I.O.O.F. lodges.
He is survived by his daughter, Nina Deering of Brookfield, MO; grandchildren, Stephanie and Gary Rye, Robert and Caren Meeks, David Chandler, Amy Chandler, and Nichole Morelock; great grandchildren, Dusty, Kylee, Austin, Katelynn, Kirsten, Andrea, and RJ; and a close companion, Annette Brodie.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters; and a son, James Chandler.
