Roberta Dolan, a Trenton resident passed away September 10th, at the age of 87, while under hospice care at the St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.
The body was cremated. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 22, 2014, at the Wesley United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Dolan was born October 17, 1926, in Mercer County, MO, the daughter of Melvin Leonard and E. Stella Mae (Cooper) Baugher. She was married to Morris DeWayne “Jack” Dolan on November 22, 1945. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2006. She worked at Cisco Brown Drug and the Crown Restaurant in Trenton and had served on the Grundy County Democratic Central Committee. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Mark Dolan of Independence, MO; 2 grandchildren, Rachel Renee Dolan of Liberty, MO and Toby Carpenter of Raytown, MO; a sister, Frances (Gene) Feldhausen of Green Bay, WI; 5 nephews, Terry Dolan and Gary Dolan of Trenton, MO; Phillip Dolan of Brookings, OR; Tom Feldhausen of Green Bay, WI; and Tim Feldhausen of Arlington, VA; 4 nieces, Joy Stone of Kansas City, MO; Sharon Baugher and Karen Pritchett both of Las Vegas, NV; and Phyllis McHargue of Hannibal, MO.; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty Baugher of Trenton, MO and Gladys Baugher of Las Vegas, NV. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Whitney; and 2 brothers, Judson “Jud” and Nelson Baugher; and 2 nephews, Carroll and Gary Baugher.
