John Robert (Bob) Lamme, 83 of Maryville, MO, passed away at his home on September 9, 2014. He was born on July 14, 1931 in Trenton, MO to Jacob and Edith Lamme.
Bob served in the Marines and was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. He was a water well driller for 55 years retiring from his own company just three years ago. Bob received a Lifetime
Achievement Award from the Missouri Water Well Association.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Earlene (Trump), of the home, son Dennis (Jeanmarie), Toms River, NJ, and daughter Lynda (Clay) Hollingsworth, Maitland, MO, grandchildren, Kelly, Jake, Krissy, Kaylie, Dallas, Dennis Jr, Amanda, and Michael, and ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Services will be held at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton, MO at 2:00pm on Friday, September 12 with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
