Former Galt, MO resident Eula Fern Roach, passed away at 3:41 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan, MO.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Payne Funeral Home of Galt.  Burial will be in the Humphreys Cemetery at Humphreys, MO.  A visitation is scheduled for 1:00 until service time Sunday.  Open visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial donations are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Humphreys Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Eula Fern Roach was born January 18, 1924 at Rural Harris, MO to Isaac Remus and Clella Mae (Doolin) Taylor.  She graduated from Galt High School and was married to Joe H. Roach on December 28, 1941 in Trenton, MO.  They worked side by side on their farm just north of Galt, until his death in 1996, when she moved to Trenton.  Eula Fern also enjoyed working in her garden.

Surviving relatives include her four daughters Patty Roach of Independence, MO, Nancy Emberton and her husband Charles of Milan, MO, Veon Duncan of Kansas City, MO and Sally Roach of Independence, MO, three grandchildren Brenda Lawless, Bruce Emberton, and Valerie Wilson, 4 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and a step great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, a sister Edith Williams, a brother Paul Taylor, a granddaughter Melanie Moore, and a great granddaughter Lacey Hunt.
