Trenton resident, 78 year old Jim Wolf, passed away at 7:45 PM on Friday, May 02, 2014 at Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Open visitation will begin 2:00 p.m. on Thursday and a scheduled family visitation is from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Half Rock Cemetery.
Jim was born on March 14, 1936 in Ainsworth, Nebraska to Melton John Wolf and Clara May Owens. He graduated from Rockville High School in Rockville, Nebraska. On August 15, 1954,
Jim was united in marriage to Rosaline Maixner in Ravenna, Nebraska.
Jim was a farmer in the Half Rock community and attended the Half Rock Baptist Church and Half Rock Christian Church. He was also a member and deacon at the Blue Rapids Baptist Church in Blue Rapids, Kansas and the Princeton Road Baptist Church in Trenton, Missouri. He was a plumber and electrician in Blue Rapids and Waterville Kansas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Rosaline Wolf of Trenton, MO; sons, Randy Wolf of Waterville, KS, Michael Wolf and wife, Patricia of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Linda Smith and husband, Bobby of Blue Rapids, KS, Peggy Ragan and husband, Richard of Trenton, MO, Susan Hogan and husband, James of Waterville, KS; brothers, Lee Wolf and wife, Liz of Unionstar, MO, Paul Wolf of Unionstar, MO; sisters, Joyce Splittstoser and husband, Glenn of Dalbo, MN, Esther Anderson of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Aaron, Anthony, and Mindy Wolf , Derek Ragan, Brandon, Bradley, and Timothy Wolf, Trinity Reed, James Ridout, Bobby and Larry Williams, Lisa Peek, Chris Wolf, and Chasity Hollon; and 30 great grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dale (Zeke) Wolf; a sister Mary Elizabeth Wolf; and a great grandson Jace Ridout.
