Marcia Berry, a 74 year old Trenton resident passed away at 7:42 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Wright Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Open visitation will begin 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, with a scheduled family visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.
Marcia was born on December 6, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of Eric and Vada Sonnich. She was married to Weldon Berry in August of 1958. She attended Trenton Junior College then went on to work as a med tech at Sunnyview Nursing Home for 20 years before retiring.
She is survived by 2 sons, Dan Berry of Lenexa, KS and Don Berry and his wife, Beth of Florence, AZ; and 6 grandchildren, Jackson, Erica, Jamie, Jessica, Jenessa, and Justin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Berry.
The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Green Hills Animal Shelter; they can be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.
