Trenton resident, 73 year old Mary Lou Duke passed away at Eastview Manor Care Center at 12:45 AM on Monday, December 23, 2013.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  A visitation is scheduled from 5pm until 6pm Saturday evening at the funeral home.  Floral arrangements may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
Mary Lou Duke was born on June 3, 1940 in Kansas City, MO to Richard Peery and Mary Margaret (Lawrence) Hill.  She graduated from Trenton High School in 1958 and then the University of Missouri Columbia in 1963.  On April 14, 1962 she was united in marriage to Gerald Duke in Trenton.  He preceded her in death on March 3, 2007.
Survivors include one son James Duke and wife Shakeila of St. Petersburg, Florida, and a daughter-in-law, Karen Duke of Ft. Worth, Texas and 3 granddaughters Kaitlyn Duke of St. Petersburg, FL and Lindsay Duke and Kristen Duke of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, her son Michael Duke, and her brother’s Richard Hill, Robert Hill and Steven Hill.

We were so sorry to hear about Mary Lou's passing. You may not remember us Jamie, but we lived next door to you guys in Des Moines. Your parents were always so good to us, great friends. I'm sorry we lost touch. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
