Doris Marshall, a 92 year old Cameron resident, and former Tindall, MO resident, passed away at 7: 50 p.m. on December 19, 2013 at the Cameron Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in the South Evans Cemetery, north east of Trenton. A scheduled visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at Resthaven.
Mrs. Marshall was born on March 10, 1921 in Tindall, MO the daughter of Walter and Edith (Grim) Hopkins. She graduated Trenton High School and Trenton Junior College. She was married to Robert Marshall Sr. on October 4, 1942 in Gilman City, MO. She taught school and later on substituted in the Trenton and Princeton Schools. She was active in the Farmers Market and Sunday School Teacher at Tenth Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by 6 children, Robert “Steve” Marshall Jr. and his wife, Sharon, Ron Marshall and his wife, Cathy, Rick Marshall, Nancy Carol, Dan Marshall and his wife, Debbie, and Randy Marshall and his wife, Virginia; a brother, Leo Hopkins and his wife, Joann; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Marshall; a brother, Wilbur Hopkins; and a granddaughter, Lisa Smith.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, they can be left at or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.
