Francis L. Ray, a 71 year old resident of the Hickory community passed away at 5:45 a.m., Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church near Trenton. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  Memorial donations may be made to the Serve Link Home Care Life Line and left with or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary at P.O. Box 587, Trenton, MO 64683.
Francis Ray was born November 8, 1942 in Trenton to Frankie and Loretta Ray.  He graduated from Trenton High School the class of 1960.  On May 13, 1967 he was united in marriage to Loretta Hubbard in Princeton, MO and they have lived in the Hickory community all of their married lives.  Francis was a member of the Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include his wife Loretta of the home, sons Matthew Ray and his wife Kim of Trenton and Phillip Ray and his wife Taya of Trenton, four grandchildren; Trinity and Elliana Gaunt and Caleb and Brooklynn Ray and an aunt Dorothy Mullins of Trenton.
Those preceding him in death include his parents and a step-father Huell Hobbs.

lorreta , so sorry for your loss. will be thinking of you and your family. will try to get to trenton but unsure as i was to have 4 grankids sat. so very sorry to hear the news of francis will talk with u later. cc

Thinking of you this morning. I'm really glad I got to meet him. He seemed like he was a really sweet man. I enjoyed all of your stories about him when I was at North Central. Take care and keep in touch.
