Marsha Cox, a 66 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 2:04 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Trenton.  Pastor Mike Moore will officiate. Burial will be in the Lick Fork Cemetery, south of Gallatin.  Open visitation will begin Thursday morning at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.
Marsha Cox was born June 18, 1947 to Ernest and Marceline (Dykes) Melson in Bethany, MO.  She was married to Jim Cox on September 2, 1967 in Gallatin, MO.
Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, Jim Cox of Trenton, MO; a son, Seth Cox and his wife, Kendra of Trenton, MO; a daughter, Michelle Johnston of Cameron, MO; a grandson, Koleby McClintick of Cameron, MO; and her mother, Marceline Melson of Trenton, MO.
Besides her father, Ernest Melson, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Roberta Melson and Leonard and Nona Dykes.
Memorial donations are suggested to the First Christian Church or Hospice Advantage of Gallatin; they may be left or mailed to Resthaven Mortuary, P.O. Box 567, Trenton, MO 64683.

Jim and family, My prayers are with you all during this time of loss. Marsha was a wonderful person. The world is a better place because she was in it and has lost a little of its love with her death. May God's love and strength surround you and uphold at this time.
