Longtime employee of Klinginsmith’s TV & Appliance, Donnie “Termite” Hudson, 58, passed away at 8:15 AM Friday August 13, 2010 at his home at 2104 Park Lane in Trenton, MO while under hospice care.
The body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Resthaven Mortuary at Trenton. A scheduled family visitation will be held from 10:00 until service time. Memorials have been suggested to be given to either the Wright Memorial Hospice, the American Cancer Society or the Tree House Inn at the Liberty Hospital. Inurnment of the cremains will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens at Trenton.
Mr. Hudson was born on October 20, 1951 at Trenton the son of Franklin and Norma Stitt Hudson. He graduated from Trenton High School and attended the Trenton Junior College. He lived in Trenton all his life and had worked as a T.V. repairman all his life working for Hudson Radio & T.V. for a few years before beginning to work at Klinginsmith T.V. and Appliance until he became ill. On May 22, 1987 he was married to Linda Pollard Ferril at Trenton.
He was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; his mother, Norma Hudson of Trenton, MO; a step-son, Craig Ferril of Kansas City, MO; a step-daughter, Leslie Ferril of Kansas City, MO. and two brothers, Gary Hudson of Brimson, MO and Roger Hudson of Trenton, MO. and by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
