Donna Norris, a 79 year old Trenton resident, stepped into new life at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, October 07, 2013 at the Eastview Manor in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. The body will be cremated following the services with a private family inurnment at a later date in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Open visittaiton will be held beginning 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday and a scheduled visitaition from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at Resthaven.
She was born April 6, 1934 in Bosworth, MO, the daughter of Byron and Kathryn (Pinkard) Potter. She was a 1952 graduate of Trenton high school. She was united in marriage to James Marvin Norris on May 2, 1954; he proceeded in death on June 30, 1970. She was a member of the Highview Baptist Church and had attended the Laredo Christian Church.
Mrs. Norris is survived by 3 daughters, Christi Norris of Springfield, MO; Alesia Campbell and her husband, Duane of Humphreys, MO; and Carmel Curtis and her husband, Nevin of Galt, MO; a brother, Maurice Potter and his wife, Loretta of Mendon, MO; a sister, Karen Whitney and her husband, Jerry of Niangua, MO; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in law, Cleo Wyant.
