Paul M. Hoselton, an 83 year old Humphreys, MO resident, passed away at 12:07 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Sullivan County Hospital in Milan, MO.

A visitation is scheduled from 6 until 8 Friday evening at Payne Funeral Home of Galt.  Open visitation will begin Friday morning.  His body is to be cremated after the visitation with a private family burial at a later date at Humphreys Cemetery.  Memorial donations are suggested in lieu of flowers to either the Humphreys Cemetery or the Humphreys Christian Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home at 813 Custer, Trenton, 64683.

Paul McQuown Hoselton was born July 27, 1930 in Winigan, MO to J.T. and May (McQuown) Hoselton.  He graduated from Browning High School.  From February 21, 1952 until February 3, 1954 he served with the United States Army.  On June 21, 1957 he united in marriage to Marilyn Jan Jennings.  She passed away on November 26, 1972 and he remarried to Jo Ann Vencill on April 13, 1974.  She also preceded him in death on February 9, 2007.  Mr. Hoselton worked as a farmer all his life and served on the school board as well as the Bowman and Taylor Townships.  He was also a member of the Humphreys Christian Church.

Surviving relatives include his sons Jim Hoselton of Humphreys and John Hoselton and his wife Brenda of Humphreys, five grandchildren; Tom Hoselton and his wife Teresa, Terry Hoselton and his wife Suzan, Tim Hoselton, Jeff Hoselton and Samantha Hoselton, as well as two great grandchildren Padrick and Owen.

Those preceding him in death include his parents, wives, and a brother Ray Hoselton.
