Beverly Schmidt, a 68 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at her daughter’s residence in Versailles, MO where she had been under hospice care.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. A visitation is scheduled for 7-8 p.m., Friday evening at Resthaven.
Beverly Schmidt was born on October 24, 1944 the daughter of Oakley and Dorothy (Kincade) Stottlemyre. She graduated from Trenton High School. She was married to James Schmidt on June 29, 1987 in Miami, OK, they were both active in the Elks Lodge. She loved being around family, friends, her cat, playing crossword puzzles and putting together jigsaw puzzles, and her flowers.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Teresa Lewis of Versailles, MO; two brothers, Norman Stottlemyre and his wife Jenny of Lathrop, MO and Kenny Stottlemyre and his wife Glenda of Wayne City, IL; a sister in law, Judy Stottlemyre of Polo, MO; a brother in law, John Danks of Trenton, MO; and a grandson, Joshua Lewis of Columbia, MO.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband; a sister, Nora Faye Danks; and a brother, James Levi “J.L.” Stottlemyre.
