Barbara Jean Maloney an 87 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 11:50 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Rural Dale Cemetery East of Trenton. A visitation is scheduled from 7 until 8 Friday evening at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society and left with the funeral home.
Barbara Maloney was born February 13, 1926 in Trenton, MO to Michael Joseph and Beatrice Frances (Brock) DePaul. She was raised in and graduated High School from Trenton. On November 16, 1946 she was united in marriage to Edwin William Maloney in Troy, KS. He preceded her in death on May, 16, 1976. In 1956 they returned to Trenton where for 18 years she owned and operated Mode O Day Dress Shop and B J Fashions clothing in Trenton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trenton.
Surviving relatives include her son Donald Edwin Maloney of Springfield, MO a daughter Donna Elaine Berning of Smithville, MO, four grandchildren, two step grandchildren and ___ great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, a son Carl Dwight Maloney and a brother Jerry Dean DePaul.
