Clifford Young, an 81 year old resident of Trenton, passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at his home while under hospice care.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Wesley United Methodist Church.  Rev Barry Boulware will officiate.  Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Trenton.  A scheduled visitation will be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton.
Mr. Young was born on August 31, 1931 in Council Grove, KS the son of Norman W. and Lelia E. (Hughes) Young. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a painter and was a supervisor for various companies he worked for.  He was married to Ginger (Cook) Murray on April 15, 1988 in Miami, OK.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger of the home; 4 sons, Shawn Young and his companion Cynthia Jones of Boncarbo, CO, Kregg Murray and his companion, Debbie McGee of Trenton, MO, Jeff Murray of Cameron, MO, and Ken Murray and his wife, Stacy of Olathe, KS; 3 daughters, Deanna Burke and her husband, Leonard of Raytown, MO, Debra Nelson and her husband, Pastor Bill of Kincaid, KS, and Terri Chappell and her husband, Dan of Omaha, NE; 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Laverna; and a daughter, Sherry Annett.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St Lukes Hospice or the Wesley United Methodist Church.

Ginger,
Just read about Cliff in the newspaper. Just wanted to tell you how very sorry I am about your loss. Was going to call you but I'm sure you're quite busy right now with arrangements and such. My sympathies goes out to you and your family and if there is any thing I can do, please let me know.
