Rose Marie Washburn, a 76 year old resident passed away at 2:35 a.m., June 17, 2013 at Eastview Manor Care Center.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton. Open visitation will begin Wednesday morning at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice Advantage and may be left at the funeral home.
Rose Washburn was born October 19, 1936 in Trenton, MO to Acie and Ollie Norris Klingensmith. On February 11, 1955 she was united in marriage to Donald Washburn. He preceded her in death march 14, 2010. Mrs. Washburn worked for Modine in Trenton before operating the Washburn Greenhouse, retiring in 1980. She especially enjoyed gardening and the outdoors as well as baking all kinds of deserts.
Surviving relatives include her sons David Washburn and his wife Kris of Trenton, Brad Washburn and his wife Timmy of Trenton, Donnie Washburn and his wife Joyce of Peaceful Valley, VA, a daughter Brenda Tharp of Laredo, MO, a sister-in-law Margaret Klingensmith of Trenton, a brother-in-law Nelson Washburn of California, MO 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, three brothers Roy, Bobby and Billy Klingensmith and a sister Betty Graham.
