Stanley Street a 60 year old Gallatin, MO resident passed away Wednesday afternoon near Osgood, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday from the Lake Viking Clubhouse at Lake Viking. Family visitation will be held from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Resthaven Mortuary at Trenton, MO. The body will be cremated following the services.
Stanley was born on December 25, 1952 at Trenton, MO the son of Vernon and Thelma Warner Street. He was raised in the Humphreys area and graduated from Grundy R.V. High School in 1970. He then attended and graduated from Trenton Junior College as a licensed paramedic. He was employed as a paramedic on the Grundy County Ambulance before returning to college to receive his Registered Nurses degree. He was married to Marilyn Johnson on December 25, 1984 at Green City, MO. They moved to Kirksville, MO in 1987 where he was employed as a dialysis nurse. They moved to Gallatin in 2002 and he has been employed with the Missouri Department of Corrections at Cameron ever since.
Stanley found the way of Jesus in 1978 as demonstrated in the Bible—and it continues to produce the same fruit today.
Surviving relatives include his wife Marilyn of the home at Gallatin, MO; a son, Tyler Street and his wife Katie of Kirksville, MO: a daughter, Macoe and her friend Shaun Jack of Gallatin, MO,: a brother Steven Street and his wife Sherry of Norborne, MO: a sister Christine Boren and her husband Chuck of Gallatin, MO: three grandchildren, Rylee, Paislee and Traeton Street.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
