Paul Ellis an 85 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 6:40 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Sunnyview Nursing Home.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Trenton.  Inurnment of the cremains will be in the Masonic Cemetery.  

Paul Ellis was born May 11, 1927 in Trenton, MO to Clyde W. and Mina May Ellis.  On June 25, 1950 he was united in marriage to Nancy Lou Hammons in Trenton. She preceded him in death on October 29, 2011.  Paul served in the United Sates Army from 1945 until 1947 serving in Europe during WWII.  Other than the time spent in Europe and some time studying at the University of Missouri Columbia He lived his entire life in Trenton.  Paul and Nancy lived their dreams in Trenton volunteering for the Baptist church and the food pantry as well as Paul helped the V.F.W. with the honor guard program.

Surviving relatives include, a daughter, Debbie and her husband Jim Bundridge of Holt, MO; 2 sons, Phillip and his wife Linda Ellis of Venice, FL, and David and his wife Becky Ellis of Clinton, MO; a sister, Shirley Greiner of Scottsdale, AZ; 7 grandchildren, Scott, Elaine, Sarah, Cheyenne, Cody, Christian and Carson; as well as 3 great grandchildren,  Madison, Ally Ellis, and Serenity.

Those preceding him in death include his parents, wife; 3 sisters, Wyenema Hall, Margaret Tapsoctt, and Delores Gallatin; and, 2 brothers, Harry and Robert Ellis.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Grundy County Food Pantry.
