Meredith L. Redmond passed Wednesday evening, December 19, 2012. A celebration of her life will take place this Sunday, the 23rd, 2 pm, at the Hodge Presbyterian Church in Trenton preceded by a 12:30 reception also at the church. There will be no burial, as Meredith’s body was cremated. Rev. Steve Merrin will officiate.
Born December 3, 1946 in Trenton, Meredith was the daughter of W.E. “Dub” and Thelma (Roberts) Miller. She married her high school sweetheart, Bill Redmond on April 11, 1964 in Trenton. They were proud members of the Hodge Presbyterian Church family.
Meredith loved music, her friends and sitting on the beach. And, we can all see her smiling, sitting at the front of their boat headed down the lake. But she was happiest watching her grandsons do ‘whatever made them happy’ and would quickly tell you how perfect her boys are.
Meredith leaves behind Rebecca and her husband, O’Neal Mitchell; Russ and his wife, Kristin Redmond; and 4 grandsons Ben, Ethan, Jackson and Jon. She also leaves her sister Mavis Groves and family. Peacefully, she has returned to the arms of her true love Bill.
In lieu of flowers, Meredith’s wish would have been to support the Hodge Presbyterian Church. Memorial gifts can be left with or mailed to Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home, 813 Custer, Trenton, MO 64683.

What a pleasure it was to visit with Meredith at the Class of 1962 reunion. Her smile was so bright. Meredith is one more of the Miller family that I dearly miss. Remembering them all with love and in peace.
