Lillian Haddox, a 96 year old former Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 2:19 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton, MO.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. Rev. Barry Boulware will officiate. No visitation is planned.
Mrs. Haddox was born on July 21, 1916 at Reger, MO the daughter of Claude Eugene “Gene” and Clio (Moffitt) Rogers. She was married to Richard H. Haddox on October 14, 1933 in Green Top, MO. They lived in Kansas City until December 1941 and moved to a farm near Humphreys. In 1959 they moved to Trenton. After Richards death on February 17, 1989 she moved to the Kansas City area to live with her daughter. She is a member of the Methodist Church of Resurrection of Leawood, KS.
She is survived by a son, David Haddox and his wife, Mary of Belton, MO; a daughter, Martha Blevins and her husband, Charles of Belton, MO; a grandson, Kevin White and his wife, Jennifer and their children, Sydney, Addisyn, and Braxton of Shawnee, KS.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Terry Haddox.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Untied Methodist Church of Trenton.
