Colleen Arneson, a 76 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away on November 5, 2012 at the Val Verde Regional Medical Center in Del Rio, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Dockery Chapel Methodist Church. Rev Mike Dennis will officiate.  Burial will be in the Edinburg I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  A family visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Resthaven Mortuary.

Mrs. Arneson was born on August 17, 1936 in Spickard, MO the daughter of Clifford and June (Betz) Vandevender.  She was married to Max Bennett on November 13, 1954; he preceded her in death on October 5, 1998.  She was later married to Arthur “Arnie” Arneson on December 31, 2003.  She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Arnie Arneson of Trenton, MO; a daughter, Brenda Sue Bailey of Jacksonville, FL; a son, Max Bennett Jr of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Henry Vandevender of Trenton, MO; a sister, Lillian Eaton of Galt, MO; a step mother, Pearl Vandevender of Trenton, MO; a step son, Charles Arneson of Brookings, OR; 2 step daughters, Rhonda Fleming of San Diego, CA and Cynthia Prager of Riverside, CA; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; and 4 step great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Legion Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
