Judith: Phyllis and I are stunned by the news of Gary’s departure, yet confident in the assurance of his having arrived in his heavenly home. This in no way diminishes your loss, and the loss now shared by so many of Gary’s earthly friends. Gary was a unique individual, and will remain a lifetime influence. We are well aware of your support and encouragement that contributed to Gary’s having a lasting influence on so many people. Mere words can not contain all that could be said of the good the two of you have done through the Spirit and guidance of our Lord Jesus. Our hearts can not carry your burden, yet we joyfully share in the appreciation of God’s gifts to us through you and Gary. To God be the Glory; Gary is one of the great things He has done. – Richard & Phyllis Nelson, Topeka, Kansas

May God's comforting shalom and love be yours dear Sister. What a blessing Gary was to me back when we both ministered the gospel in NE Kansas. Loving Loyalty was the mark your husband made on the Hedrick household. I have not known a more enthusiastic mouth for our Lord and Savior. We were so encouraged this past May when he visited with us on his way to GreenBay WI. He now knows in full who He has been talking up in part the best days of his earthly life. We grieve with you and pray for your strength to be renewed day by day. We love you in Christ.

Dear Judith and all of Gary's family: My thoughts and prayers and the those of the First Christian Church of Trenton are with you as you grieve the loss of Gary's presence among you and yet celebrate his presence with his Lord. I shall miss his prayers in our clergy meetings, his warmth and sense of humor and the devotion He always showed to His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Grace and Peace be unto you!

Judith,
I have been thinking about you a lot. I will never forget the night in Nebraska when the joke Gary was going to play on me backfired! He was so much fun but you know that. Please email me or call when you are ready to talk. Miss You! Linda Finn
