Jerry D Roberts, a 67 year old Trenton, MO and former Spickard resident, passed away at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, October, 19, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. A scheduled visitation will be held from 7 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the mortuary.
Mr. Roberts was born on August 4, 1945 in Putnam County, the son of Clifford and Lois (Parsons) Roberts. He was married to Marsha Streett on November 3, 1979 in Princeton, MO. He farmed all of his life in the Spickard community until moving to Trenton. He was a member of the Spickard Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha of the home; a son, Jeff Roberts and his wife, Barbara of Pittsburg, MO; 3 daughters, Lisa Rippey and her husband, Nick of Independence, MO, Dana Kinnison and her husband, Ronnie of Smithville, MO; and Jerri Ann Roberts of Chillicothe, MO; a sister, Pat Humphreys and her husband, Melvin of Farmersville, MO; 10 grandchildren, David Roberts, Chelsea Kinnison, Dakota Roberts, Dalton Roberts, Dillon Lewis, Rhys Rippey, Gabriel Rippey, Makelah Simpson, Mason Simpson, and Wyatt Curtin; 2 great granddaughters, Hannah Roberts and Alyssa Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
