I did not know Brad personally, but learned of his death through the local news at RickeyStokesnews.com here in Dothan, Al. I also work at AFS and love aviation.
There is nothing in life harder than losing someone that you love and I am very sorry that this accident took Brad from your lives.
Sincerely, Rick Lewis

Brad is my friend

I'm deeply saddened by the trajedy which unfolded last Friday. Honestly, our friendship was short and distant because of the business we're in. You came to my home in Dothan and I visited you briefly in Ozark when you were building the aircraft.

When I was fortunate enough to spend time with Brad I knew I was with someone special. So smart, so funny, so brave (breaking horses etc...) much better looking than all his friends.... yet humble. You could just tell he was raised right.

It's very difficult to accept and I cannot imagine the pain his family and close friends are feeling now but, to all of you.....

I hope and pray that one day... a time will come when you think of Brad ... or hear someone say his name and his memory brings a smile to your face before the tears run down your cheeks. I'm not there yet ..... but maybe one day.

BRAD was my friend.I had the honor and pleasure of working with Brad for a few months recently and I am so THANKFUL for the time I had.I have no doubt that if I called Brad today and ask for help,he would fly back to Ozark as quick as possible with no questions asked. We shared a lot of the same interest.
When I broke the ice with Brad, and saw his infectious smile....I knew he was my friend.
Mr. & Mrs. Hammond, you are to be commended for raising such a fine young man. There is no doubt that Brad touched more lives than you will ever know.
Brad spoke often of his little boy Colton, and nothing could have wiped the smile from his face.Colton, may Brad live through you.
May God comfort and continue to bless each of you at this time as we remember Brad.May each of you SMILE as I will, because I know that Brad made the world A BETTER PLACE.......THANK YOU BRAD,YOU ARE MY FRIEND!

Sincerest condolences to your entire family. As neighbors of Brad''s, we were constantly amazed at the scope and depth of Brad''s knowledge, as well as his willingness to learn new skills. He never hesitated to help out Jerry or Ed at the lake on a moment''s notice, taking Colton along with, as his companion. We''re all saddened by Brad''s untimely passing.
