To Frederick''s family
We are so sorry for your loss. But now Frederick is with Franklin in heaven. We cannot express what a blessing they were to our family. They were grandfathers to our children after they lost both of their grandfathers 30 years ago. They helped our three children get through college. Mel always treasured Franklin''s wisdom. He so enjoyed working with Franklin at Jones store nearly 50 years ago. They will always live in our hearts. We loved them both. Melvin E. Barker and family

Frederick was one of my best friends. I am so honored to have known him and Franklin and had them as neighbors. I will miss him so much...it was such a pleasure going to visit with him and helping him out when he needed assistance. I know that he is much happier now being with Franklin. I love you Frederick and Franklin!

My heartfelt sympathies to Mr. Bosley's loved ones. Modern Europe was my first hour class as a sophomore at Shawnee Mission North. What a fantastic teacher Mr. Bosley was to me. The first quarter I slept through each of his classes. Then we arrived at WWI and the Russian Revolution. I was fascinated. It began my lifelong love for all things Russian. I studied and checked out books for extra credit. Mr. Bosley and I used to discuss Lenin and the revolution to the exclusion of the class. As we were taking our final for the semester he came by and told us our grades. He said he was giving me a C. I was thrilled with that since I had an F the previous quarter. What he didn't tell me was that my grade for the quarter was an A. The average was the C! It was his gift to me. I have thought of Fred Bosley often over the years. I always wanted to tell him how much his teaching meant to me. I googled his name for the 1000th time and found this site. I'm sad that I never was able to tell him. I know he is looking down and has received the message. He was special and I know he touched many other students lives. He was one of a kind. Thank you, Sir for giving so much of yourself and your exceptional teaching skills. You will never be forgotten.
