Mary Lou Jose, an 80 year old resident of Trenton, MO, passed away at 11:00 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2010 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  Open visitation will begin at noon Tuesday.  Memorial donations are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Green Hills Animal Shelter, the Jewitt Norris Liabrary or the donor’s choice.

Mary Lou Jose was born May 14, 1930 in Spickard, MO to Floyd and Maude (Wolz) Taylor.  She graduated from Galt High School and then from Drake University in Des Moines, IA with a major in music specializing in piano.  On September 30, 1951 she was united in marriage to Russell E. Jose in Des Moines, IA.  They lived in Spencer, IA and Knoxville, TN, until she retired from Southwestern Bell when she moved to Trenton.  Mrs. Jose had a special place in her heart for animals especially her dogs that she considered companions.

She is survived by five nieces and nephews.  Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, a brother Jack Taylor and a sister Virginia Crawford.
