Jo Ann Grumbine, 94, of Trenton, MO, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Kansas City, MO.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  
Jo Ann Grumbine was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Ben and Belle Shotwell.  After High School she served in the United States Army during WWII.  On March 25, 1950 she was united in marriage to Nathan Grumbine in Farmington, NM.  He preceded her in death in 1996.  They lived in Venezuela for 10 years before moving to Jamesport, MO from 1965 until 1972 when they moved to Trenton.  Jo Ann worked as a long time employee for the Gable’s Restaurant in Trenton.
Jo Ann is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Those preceding her in death include her parents and husband.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Open visitation will begin Tuesday morning.
