Shirley Jean Holt, a 83 year old Trenton, resident, passed away at 11:36 a.m., Tuesday, July 03, 2018 at Eastview Manor in Trenton.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at Hodge Presbyterian Church.  There will be a reception to follow in the church.  Memorial donations are suggested to Hodge Presbyterian Church in lieu of flowers and may be left with or mailed to Whitaker Eads Funeral Home in Trenton.
Shirley Jean Holt was born February 18, 1935 in Trenton, MO, to Ronald and Charlotte (Siebenborn) Limes.  She graduated from Trenton High School and then worked at the University Extension for a couple years.  On June 12, 1955 she was united in marriage to Earl Dean Holt in Hodge Presbyterian Church.  He preceded her in death October 23, 2010.  Around 1974 Shirley started working for Farmers Mutual Insurance and stayed there until her retirement.  In her spare time Shirley enjoyed reading Harlequin Romance Novels, cooking and playing the piano.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Sandra Williams of Trenton.
