Donna, affectionately known to her family and friends as Foogie, was married to Kenneth Kriewitz on July 19th, 1964 in Trenton, MO. She was born to Winston and Thelma (Huffstutter) Hamilton on December 30th, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. Foogie was a cheerful and friendly girl growing up who had a deep love for God, the outdoors, and her family and friends. She met her sweetheart, Kenny, when she was 15 while in high school at Trenton High. After graduating in 1964, she and Kenny tied the knot on July 19, 1964. A few short months later in 1965, Foogie and Kenny welcomed their daughter Kendra into the world and in 1966 their son Greg. Their life as a family was filled with adventures in the outdoors of Peck Ranch, gardening, garage-selling, and riding motorcycles. Foogie was a spiritual rock of her family who had a great love for our Lord and an unwavering belief in God’s faithfulness to the very end. She always lived by the word of the apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippians, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13). She worked as a medical transcriptionist but was known for writing, story-telling, and artwork (one piece from her teenage years was displayed for a time at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City). Foogie was a kind, loving, and soft-hearted wife and mother; the best one could ever ask for. Foogie is survived her loving husband Ken; daughter Kendra (Harold) Osborn; son Greg (Wendy) Kriewitz; sister Lonna (John) English; grandchildren Nikki (Nick) Spokanski, Ethan, and Lauren; and great-grandchildren Emma and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Rita, Brad, and Doug.
