Harold Booth, an 89 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Sunday morning, April 1, 2018 at Sunnyview Nursing home in Trenton.  

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 at the First Assembly of God Church in Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  Open visitation will begin at 9:00 Thursday morning at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Royal Ranger’s building fund and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

Harold Booth was born October 6, 1928 in Cainsville, MO to Byron and Winnie Avis (Harper) Booth.  On November 2, 1951 he was united in marriage to Ethel Barnett in Trenton.  Together they enjoyed traveling and have vacationed in nearly every state in the nation.  Harold worked at Trenton Municipal Utilities for 34 years.  In his spare time he enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and gardening.  He especially enjoyed giving his produce to friends and relatives, as well as, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include his wife Ethel Booth of the home, daughter Diana Klinginsmith and husband Rick of Trenton, sons Dwayne Booth and wife Fran of Kansas City, MO, Dennis Booth and wife Melissa of Columbia, MO, brother Lawrence Booth of Chillicothe, MO, sister Margaret Barnett and husband Elmer of Breckenridge, MO, sister-in-law, Naomi Scott and husband Raymond of Spickard, MO, four grandchildren; Derreck Booth and wife Amy, Valerie Story and husband Joe, Melody Bezenek and husband Kris and Meredith Becklenberg and husband Ben, eight great grandchildren; Cooper and Luke Story, Devin, Annie and Rowan Booth, Dalton and Alice Becklenberg, Mia Bezenek and many nieces and nephews.

Those preceding him in death include his parents, sisters Hazel Tharp and Lucille Rosson, brothers James, Clifford, Darold and Dee Booth, and half siblings Doyle Booth and Juanita Lugenbeal.
