Donna Lou McCracken, an 80 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 10:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Ozark River Manor in Ozark, MO.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Trenton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. Open visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday September 8, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Memorial donations are suggested to the Green County C.E.R.T. – C.A.R.T. and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Donna McCracken was born March 14, 1937 in Trenton to Clarence Glen “Red” and Vera J. (Newton) Faller. She lived her entire life in the Trenton area and graduated from Trenton High School. Donna worked as a florist for Eleanore’s Flowers for a number of years and as a teacher’s aide at Rissler Elementary School for 15 years. On December 31, 1955 she was united in marriage to Jerry F. McCracken in Trenton. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2003. They were members of the First Christian Church in Trenton. Donna was also a member of the Pi Master Sorority of Beta Sigma Phi and the Red Hatter’s.
Surviving relatives include her daughter Jerry Rowland and husband Andy of Springfield, MO, and four grandchildren Ashley and Allyson Rowland of Milton-Freewater, OR, and Alyssa and Glen Rowland of Springfield, MO.
