Floyd Miller, a 79 year old Spickard, MO resident, passed away at 8:35 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Wright Memorial Hospital of Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. His body is to be cremated after the services with inurnment at a later date in Mitchell Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the donor’s choice and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Floyd Howard Miller was born November 10, 1937 in Brimson, MO to Glen and Cleatise (Lovell) Miller. On September 26, 1970 he was united in marriage to Diana Lee Bozeman in Las Vegas, NV. Floyd worked many jobs over his lifetime including truck driving, mining, working in movies, training horses and was a deputy sheriff in Maricopa County, AZ.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Diana of the home; sons, Jim Miller and his wife Isla of Princeton, MO and Lonnie Miller of Hot Springs, SD; daughters, Patricia Norton and husband Brandon of Trenton, MO, Suzann Mayes and husband Jason of Centerline, MI and Christina Baker of Spickard, MO; brother, Ronnie Miller and wife Diane of Trenton, MO; sister, Mary Lou Tattman and husband George of Lafayette, IN; also surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Those preceding him in death include his parents, a son Alan Miller and sisters Joyce Miller and Joan Bennett.
